Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...

it's about learning how to dance in the rain.

Even little gifts count

Give though thy gift be small, still be a giver;
out of the little fount proceeds the river;
out of the river, gulfs soon will be
pouring their waters out - making a sea.
Out of the sea again, heaven draws its powers.
Thus in the cycle born, gifts roll round,
and in the blessings given - blessing is found!

There is a proper timing for every action, and the
success of action hangs on that timing. Change is most
often a gradual progression, not a sudden upheaval.
One should note the manner in which the seasons
progress, and patiently build toward the desired
transformation. Achieved in this way, the change
occurs naturally, and gains support from others.

Nasa ha a motto. I chose it a long time as the words to live my life by. Might not have been the best of choices, but it was the coice I made, never changed it for some odd reason. There are days I have forgoton my name, but this one of those things that has stuck with me since I learned with it.

'high flight'

oh, i have slipped the surly bonds of earth and
danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
sunward i've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds--and done a hundred things
you have not dreamed of--wheeled and soared and swung
high in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
i've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
my eager craft through footless halls of air.
