Hiya from Australia, my 6 year old son has recently been diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy. His seizures are nocturnal. His neurologist has so far tried Tegratol, Keppra, then Keppra + Sabril. Still nothing has had any (positive) effect. The aim is to have him seizure free to have a PET scan to pinpoint where the displaced area of brain is, then perhaps surgery. In the meantime, my little man's school is noting decline in fine motor skills, focus, and general learning ability... I am worried for his immediate health but now also his future. Having some very gloomy days at present (me). Anyone had any similar experience? There is no family history of epilepsy in our families. I miss my bright and bubbly boy.
