It was in the 50's here earlier this week but starting Friday snow sleet and freezing rain right through the
weekend.

It's warmed up a good bit here on the coast. Feels like Spring weather lately - highs in the upper 70s.

It's windy today and we got about 4 inches of snow from the blizzard that hit the east coast but they say we may
get hit again come Wed and Thurs. I just hope they are wrong.

The blizzard they're experiencing on the East Coast reminds me of the ones I saw in South Dakota & all the snowfall in Superior, WI. My family was driving to Chicago during Blizzard of 1979--my dad had to follow a semi-truck, driving in its tracks!

Definitely needed my snowblower for this storm. I took a long nap in the afternoon. Went out after dark and got everything done.
I kept the wood stove going all day.

End of sunmer here but still warm.
Autumn starts on 1st of March which will be a nuce relief

This morning it was so foggy that there was a dense fog advisory--visibility was 1/8 of a mile in some areas! It will be RIDICULOUSLY warm for this time of year--around 70 degrees at least twice this week.
Now that our trip to Pakistan is OFF, I'm going to get my vegetable seeds started soon.

Yesterday in the late afternoon & late evening/last night there was SEVERE weather close to us. Less than 50 miles around us, here in Illinois and Indiana, there were about 4 tornadoes. Some areas just north of us had LARGE hail--I mean grapefruit size!

Today (Wednesday) we had some rain and it was in the low 70's but starting tomorrow the snow is coming back with
temperatures in the 30's.

This year winter ended & spring began with "roller coaster" weather. It is warm to hot one or two days--well above normal, then it rains and the next day's high is normal or even close to freezing.

It's been flooding in my area for the past couple of days but what's even worse is a tornado came down
about 3 hrs. from where I live and homes were destroyed.

I was in shorts yesterday. I lit a fire this morning. It’s cold and rainy, just raw out.

New expression I’ve never heard:
“Spring snow is a poor man’s fertilizer”

We're in the beginning of autumn here in Australia
It's been nice and sunny at the moment
I'm sure we'll get some rain soon, which will be good as we need it

I spoke too soon.
Raining today lol

With all the ridiculously warm weather we've been having, I was shocked to hear them say we could see some snow flurries in the next day or two, & tonight's low temperature is 30 degrees
