    Deja vu - how serious?

Hi guys - I've been lurking for a while and wanted to ask a couple of questions about your experiences. I've been taking lamotrigine for around 10 years and it has definitely reduced my generalized seizures but I've noticed a rise in partials in the last year or so. I started Keppra last...

    Epilepsy & anxiety/OCD disorders

So, bit of background. I'm 25, had my first ever seizure out of the blue at the age of 15. Had two more between the ages of 15-19, then nothing for almost 6 years until August 2015 where I had another grand mal tonic clonic. Needless to say, the latest one was a big shock. They had always...

    Déjà vu pre-ictal phase

Lately I have experienced a lot of déjà vu, followed by petit mal or myclonic seizures. I know that jamais vu is pretty much common place for epilepsy, but I really don't experience this quite as often. I'm wondering if this happens with anyone else?

    Hi all!

Hi all! Possible Complex Partial Seizure...should I get a second opinion? I was diagnosed a few years ago...with syncope. Basically saying I have a tendency to pass out for no reason!? I knew they were wrong. I have what I call my deja vu episodes. I've had these since I was a young adult...

    de ja vu

This is something that has been bugging me for a while. Is deja vu always seizure related? If someone with no history of seizures experiences deja vu, are they having a seizure? I used to love deja vu. It gave me a feeling of excitement, like I knew something others didn't or I had access to...

I cannot exercise without having seizures. Is there anyone else out there?

My life has become very restricted over the last 10 years and it has got worse and worse and worse of the years. I seriously can't exert myself (eg get out of breath for a sustained time, probably over 5 minutes) without suffering at least a complex partial seizure but a few months ago it...

    New to Simple Partial Seizures

Hello everyone! I'm new to all of this and can use some support & guidance. I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm 32 years old. I have 2 children. I have a history of anxiety that started in college. Right after my daughter was born I was walking up the steps in my house and had this...

    Funny Video and a Question

I saw this and giggled. I also have a question, though. Do any of you get a weird feeling in your head that can last all day that kind of feels like your brain is telling you it's in pain, but it really isn't in pain? Oh! And good news! I started seeing a new psychiatrist (the last one...
